A TIME capsule will be laid in the grounds of Queen’s Manor for the benefit of future historians and archaeologists.
Pupils are collating mementoes which will be buried before the building work gets underway on the new school development.
The capsule will offer a glimpse of life in QM 2017 for future generations who dig up the site.
The official burial of the capsule will take place during the school’s Summer Fair and councillors and members of the 3BM project team will be there to witness the event.
School head Sonja Harrison: “This year’s summer fair will be extra special as the children have been thinking hard about what they will like to bury for future generations to unearth.”
The Fair, organised by Friends of Queen’s Manor, has a Carnival theme this year with a host of stalls for the children and adults alike.
