Proposed Academy Conversion
The Governing Body of Queen’s Manor has been considering the school’s future plans in a fast changing and increasingly challenging educational landscape.
Our priority is to enable the school to continue to provide an excellent education for our children while protecting the school’s role at the heart of our community and retaining its unique qualities and strengths.
You will no doubt be aware that many schools in England are looking at whether to convert to academy status.
Over the last year we have been discussing with other Governing Bodies how our schools might work in closer partnership to provide mutual support, challenge and benefits for our schools.
The Governing Body believes the best way forward is to establish a local multi-academy trust and for our school to convert to academy status.
The proposed Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) would have three founding member schools: Queen’s Manor, Fulham Primary and Sulivan Primary.
The Governing Body is launching a consultation on the proposal to establish a new multi academy trust, and for our school to convert to academy status.
The consultation period runs from Monday, April 18th to Friday, May 13th. The consultation information is published here and we invite parents, carers, staff and stakeholders to send completed questionnaires to the school.
