On behalf of the team here at Queen’s Manor Primary School I would like to welcome you to our website, where I hope you will find everything you need to know about our school. Queen’s Manor is a one-form entry primary school with an additional resource in The Pavilion for up to 20 children with learning difficulties. We pride ourselves on our family feel, our inclusivity and our ambition for all children to become successful learners and caring citizens.
Our motto is ‘Strive, Believe, Achieve’ because we want children to try hard, believe in themselves and achieve whatever they dream to achieve. In return, we strive to provide the best possible opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom for children to enjoy and learn from. We believe that every child has potential and we work with them to help them achieve their best in their personal, social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
The school’s most recent Ofsted report in December 2018 re-affirmed that Queen’s Manor is a “Good school”.
The inspector praised QM’s leadership team, the quality of teaching and learning, attendance, safeguarding, the school’s special needs unit, the exemplary behaviour of pupils, and the role of the entire school community.
The report states that QM is “an inclusive school which is highly valued by staff, parents and pupils. Staff are role models for the caring ethos which is evident throughout the school. There are excellent relationships between pupils and between staff and pupils.”
The inspector also noted the positive view of parents, highlighting one comment: “The kindness taught here sets the tone for principled, compassionate young people.”
Set in a magnificent three-storey Victorian building, Queen’s Manor has three halls, large, bright classrooms, an ICT suite, drama studio, music room and library. We have two large playgrounds which have recently been re-landscaped, a brand new MUGA sports pitch, the state-of-the-art new Pavilion, and a host of climbing frames, water features and gardened areas for our students to learn and play.
In October 2016 we came together with two other local schools – Fulham Primary and Sulivan Primary – to form Brightwells Academy Trust. For more details on the multi-academy trust click here.
You will see a glimpse of what life is like at Queen’s Manor as you explore our website. If you would like to visit the school and meet the staff, please contact us.
Kind regards
